Last month the Webelos scouts went camping to hart bar. We had so much fun.

The first night we slept in tents with our families. I ended up smashed against the corner! Saturday morning the Webelos cooked eggs, bacon and sausage. We cooked the best breakfast ever. After breakfast we went on a hike, just the boys and dads and the women stayed back. We hiked to the Santa Ana River. We left markers along the trail so we would not get lost.  The markers were rocks and sticks stacked up. We found a lizard and put him on a piece of bark and it floated down a drop and then flipped over. The lizard jumped on a rock to get away from us.

When we got back from camping we played a baseball game. Mr. Beckman wrapped a stick with tape that we used for a bat. My team Won. That night we had a campfire with smore's. They were good! We even roasted the chocolate. Then we told ghost stories, jokes and sang songs. That night the Webelos slept in their own tent. Boy were we scared. We told each other ghost stories, that's why we were scared. The next morning we ate, cleaned camp and headed home.

This was our first Webelos camping trip and it was cool!
