October News

October was a fun month for the returning cub scouts in Den 3. At our first meeting, we held our own Olympics with activities from Achievement 16, "Building Muscles" and from the Bobcat Trail. The boys all received gold medals and sang the National Anthem for the medal ceremony. Our next den meeting was held at Free Wheeling bike shop. The boys worked on Achievement 14, "Ride Right." They learned bike safety, bicycle maintenance and how to change a flat tire. This was a great outing. Each boy received a water bottle and patch kit.
